Matthew 17:20 "...you can say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there’ and it will move..."
Yesterday there was a 7.+ earthquake in Haiti. A few days before one in Humbolt County. Before that a small one in the Bay Area. There's a lot of moving and shaking going on in the earth. And trust me, I'm not claiming it as prophetic, but it certainly is applicable.
Faith enough to move mountains is impressive. I want mountains to be moved. I want the spiritual ground to shake because I have faith and am allowing God to use me.
Are you ready for that? Are you ready for God to increase your faith? Are you ready to see mountains moved?
Reminder - prayer meeting tonight at 7:00pm.

Thanks Kathy.
This afternoon I was able to spend some time in prayer and in the word at lunch. I read Mark 16. Jesus had risen. He appeared to Mary Magdalene, afterwards she went to tell the others who had been with Jesus. They didn’t believe her. Then he appeared to two of the others. They too went and told the disciples. Again they didn't believe it was true.
This part of the passage caught my attention. We need to look for Jesus in ways that are not the same ways we have seen him do things in our lives in the past. Isaiah 43:19 says "See I am doing a new thing." We serve the God who created everything that was made. This needs to be our view. Nothing is impossible with God. These words are true for us today, just like it was for the first century church. He is the same today, yesterday and forever.
His purpose is for fellowship with us and to form the image of his son in us. His heart felt desire is that none are separated from him. Our desire to see Jesus can’t get stuck in how we think he will appear to us .We need to realize he is God of all things and he doesn’t see things like we do. He is too amazing for our thoughts. We need to see he doesn’t have the limitations we put on him through our struggles of unbelief. He is bigger than that. He longs for us to trust he can and wants to work in amazing ways; he really wants to show us amazing things. He also wants to build our faith in him and cause us to look for him to move in great God like ways, moving mountians. Isn’t that what someone does when they love someone else? Jesus loves us. He will move mountains so we know it. He wants to move mountains through us because of the same reason.
Just a thought on moving mountains.
Lord rescue Haiti.
